Any book recommendations on advanced procurement/sourcing concepts?

Most popular books I find such as 'Procurement and Supply Manager's Desk Reference' are not detailed/deep enough.

Looking for a great writer (with a lot of TV script experience) to be my partner in a new role at a rising agency in NYC. Can be remote now but still be expected to move here at some point. Needs to be able to mentor and empower young creatives. Will be a management first role. No CDs who want to do everything themselves please. DM your books if interested, will send mine back. Open to freelancers as well who would be interested in full time if it goes well.

What book have you read that was helpful for your career and/or that you would recommend? Could be a technical book, management, etc. For me, it’s a book I read a few years ago: The Phoenix Project. I never thought I would read and like a novel about DevOps but I recommend it to all my managers.

Does anyone have faith in polkadot? I bought because it had good staking APY and i like most of what i read about them, plus Gavin wood is legit.

Didn’t occur to me until later that it was idiotic to buy at $33 when it started at $2 not very long ago. I sat in losses from 2017 buys until this year so you’d think I’d have learned my lesson lol. That said, i think this project is solid? Worth holding until 2025 if need be?

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last. So many times they are limping or in a wheelchair boarding. And then when we land that are the first to jump up and scurry off. Just not ethical.

Are there any agencies where creatives actually have good work-life balance in LA, SF or anywhere else for that matter? Like no weekends or no working more than a 40-50hr week? Or do I have to go in house for this? Or do I have to leave advertising altogether?

I feel like I’m either getting burnt out by work or trying to heal myself from it. There’s never much time for real life and I don’t want to be on my death bed reminiscing like, “Wow, I made some cool ads.” Nothing scares me more.
