For the past 6 months I’ve been applying to Pharma/Biotech jobs and get an email 2 weeks after the final interviews saying that “Due to a recent change in our business needs, we will not be filling this position at this time.” Is this normal? Are they just shutting me down without causing potential liability for them? Or are these companies interviewing and not hiring (ghost job postings)?

I just applied for a Delta flight attendant role and my page glitched right in the middle of my application and now it says I’ve applied even though I didn’t finish answering questions. Has anyone else had this happen? So scared it has completely ruined my chances.

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. Have I been ghosted or is there still hope? Does anyone at Visa have insights? Looks like there are a ton of jobs posted so maybe they are just backed up?

I am about to finish a 6 month bootcamp and I am a single mum. Is it realistic for me to find a remote working job or working in the office during term time (school hours) and working from home during the holidays/evenings. Is 85K base salary a fair offer for an MS&T Process engineer at Moderna or Takeda in Massachusetts? I have 2 YOE in process development and need help evaluating an offer. Based on Glassdoor salary insights it seems some people are getting above 90K?

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏

They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter).
