For those attorneys who celebrate having a great or perfect job, what is it about the job that makes it great? Is it a combination of factors (including the environment, the clients, the actual case work, pay, opportunities for growth) or just one factor? What is it about the job that keeps you there? I’ve been making a list of key positives that I’d like to have with my next role. Curious to see where others are as well.

I was contacted by a recruiter with a job in the EV market, which is something I've been wanting for a while. Im at a comfortable point in my current position where I can do my job very easily, change would mean starting from zero again. What should I do? Any advise?

If I’m feeling really burned out and want to take 2-3 days off in the next week or two is it bad if I let my manager know now? I know it’s a short notice. Or should I wait to take days off in a month? FYI im in a long term delivery role so there aren’t any pressing deadlines in the next while.

What are exit opportunities for people in TAS? Is it much more limited than audit exit opportunities?

I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. This was a somewhat good move for me until I consider missing out on commission each month that was more than my salary. (£25k salary, over £2k per month commission)
How do I go about raising this concern? I believe I should be paid more now and at least change my job title?

Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. I’ve been trying vitamin D and working out, but it makes my “highs” and “low” SO extreme. The simplest things are so complex in my mind.

We want to start trying for a baby in the next few months but I also am looking for a new job. I know that FMLA eligibility requires you to have worked at least a year at your current job.
