I have a weird question
I have given interviews in JPMorgan Chase for developer role and got the offer which is gud but interviews were not as tough as one might have expected from a reputed firm like jpmc.
Had 1 tech,1 tech-Manager round , Hire view test which was quite easy and an hr round.
Am a little worried about the standard of project and the team. I have offer from CIB Payments team. Checked with hiring manager and he said d role is for developer. Just worried abt quality of work
I believe FMLA is mostly related to job protection (making sure you won’t get fired if you take leave). In the corporate world, that’s something that most people are probably not super worried about. Paid maternity leave is separate and depends on individual company policies. I started a new job 5 months pregnant and I’m eligible to take paid leave immediately
I think if you find the right company, it shouldn’t be a major concern. Any company that you think would fire you while on leave or because you’re pregnant probably doesn’t have a good culture and you shouldn’t work there anyway…my 2 cents!
I haven’t been at my company for a year and can still do FMLA. It isn’t a necessary requirement for it, so I would check with your new job how mat leave would work :) hope that helps!
