I just got an offer from Accenture Switzerland, Total Comp 170K with 140K base. I have 6YOE as IT consultant and 9YOE in total. 2021-2022: +26%
2022-2023: -7.5%
Overall: +8.4%
Bought September 2020
Y1 - 15%
Y2 - 33%
Y3 (Partial) -14% (decrease)
Also doesn’t factor in capital improvements. We’ve essentially gutted the house so would expect about 50% more than we paid even if we sold in this market.
What do you use to evaluate appreciation? Zillow/Refin house value?
Yeah - hence my disclaimer around improvements. It’s all paper money until you cash out or sell.
