I am more concerned about American’s terrible customer unfriendly interior in their Maxs
Yes for sure! Two accidents in less than 6 months?? Both due to same problem?
After the second one, maybe slightly. But the MAXs are only on select longer routes and also, as much as I might flak for this, I really trust the FAA and other governing bodies. I’m sure the Max will be pulled out if this was proven to be a issue with the aircraft.
It’s going to be pull out of service! It’s time to ban Boeing! Oh wait, they’re an American owned company lol.
I always get nervous when about to take off for a flight, but I control it by repeating the safest-form-of-travel statistics over and over in my head because I try to be a logical person. But I’m scheduled to fly on a 737 MAX 8 in a few weeks and you can bet I’m going to be thinking about the statistics that out of 350 planes delivered 2 of them have already had complete losses.
Yeah the recent events are statistically high...
There was a fully documented bypass for the MCAS system that caused the Lion Air crash. it was required training for all pilots of the 737- MAX (at least by the FAA). If this crash was related to MCAS, I’m willing to bet the pilots dropped the ball
