I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

DO NOT hit people up beforehand.
Face facts, you’re going to have a few projects you don’t like in the up front. Not everyone gets the super sexy clients.
Once you’re in, start building your rep. Talk to partners in the office, let people know your areas of interest. Help partners with BD/pitches. You’ll be far more likely to get the projects you want that way.
I think approaching someone you see speak on an all-hands call is going to be a much warmer intro than adding a rando on linkedin- it's by no means expected that you come in knowing partners, I wouldn't sweat it.
Beyond that, every firm has utilization protections in place so that you won't be penalized for not being staffed in the first 6-12 months on the job.
Once you start, be present with your camera on as much as possible. Beyond that, don't worry about it
No need to do this. Hit up partners once you start and voice your interests to your staffing manager.
