There's so much good food in the westminster area! There's a bubble tea shop close to beach blvd called aiyu that had the best strawberry smoothie (strawberry snow). Also recommend the vox chicken and kin craft ramen. Honestly There's so much good food in both the OC and LA area. Have fun!

like

Newport Beach: walk around/eat at Lido Marina Village, have breakfast at Beachcomber Cafe, rent a Duffy boat (BYOB) and cruise around Newport Harbor

Laguna Beach: check out some outdoor bars/restaurants by the beach (recommend Driftwood Kitchen and The Deck)

Anaheim: lots of good breweries (recommend Bottle Logic), Disney obviously

Eat at Sanchos Tacos. There are a few locations around LA area and one down in Oceanside. They're pretty great IMO. I like Bruxie in Orange for breakfast. Nothing crazy but good waffle sandwich type stuff. There's more good food around there than anyone could ever eat. Have fun and brace yourself for the gas prices out there.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.
