Low to mid 40’s (depends on your location though). There’s not a lot of wiggle room in salary for Jr. AE / AAE roles, so if you’re looking to make a career change, your prior experience unfortunately isn’t going to help you earn more money.

How is a junior 10 years? Sounds like that’s the problem
If you have 10 YOE I would look into PM and AE roles so you can make 50k-65k. A junior role at an agency will pay 35k-45k, max 55k with OT in NYC. Small to mid-size agencies would be more flexible with you starting as a mid-level PM or AE. However, those agencies are less likely to be open to remote work.
