Had a really good interview last Wednesday. Haven’t heard back from the recruiter other than a quick reply Friday morning to give me an email address of the person I met....

Anyone interviewed for strategy role at a bulge bracket bank? Tips on the interview process? Seems like an internal consulting role focused on specific part of their business. Am I wrong to expect similar pay and pay increases YoY like consulting?
So this happened. Since getting laid off I’ve been applying to every job that I believe I’m qualified for. 30 minutes after I hit send I received an email from the company stating that I did not have the right qualifications for the job. No one from the company looked at my portfolio. How do I get past the algorithm and get my work noticed by a real person?
Been on several TAS FDD interviews so far. I’ve had some interviewers say travel would be at 70%+ and others say it’d be 10-20%. Another aspect was the length of each deal I’ve had some be 2-3 weeks and others be 2-4 months on each deal. Seems like a huge range, why is that? I’ve mainly been talking to mid market firms.
How long can you ride the bench? Will be rolling off my project soon and would like to spend my beach time applying to industry jobs

My significant other just got promoted after working 1 year as a business analyst at a local firm and his salary is now way over mine. I’m an audit senior with 2 years experience. Now he logs off at 5:30 to go to gym while I’m working long hours and struggling every day. I know I should be happy for him and understand we’re just in different industries but still this makes me feel hopeless and unmotivated being in public accounting.
