I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

“Jimmy got a job at Google.”
I know a guy who was a scrum master at a tiny company that got bought by google. He worked there for like 1.5 years and has since translated that into director and higher roles at fortune 100s. This guy isn’t particularly smart or capable. I pretty strongly attribute his success to Google being on his resume.
Totally anecdotal but that’s all I’ve got.
If you’re happy with the pay and responsibilities and the external title is all the same, why would it really matter what internal level you’re on? If you’re a top performer you’ll get promoted quickly. I came in as an L3, got promoted to L4 within the year (tech ladder).
Also unless you’re going to another big tech company, I doubt most other employers have much insight into Google’s internal leveling. They’d be more interested in your projects and your contributions. It’s not like consulting (I was at ACN before) where all the levels are super clear cut and there’s a relatively straight path to promotion.
