Got an admit to Haas EMBA program. Not sure if i should join, given the whole covid situation we are in. Would love to hear others perspectives.

I know EY early promotes had their comp discussions and was curious what other big 4’s are seeing in terms of raises this year due to covid

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

Now 8/10 teammates have switched within < 1 year of project start (6-7 months with him) which tbh had good work in our opinion and even team was fun to work with even though none of us ever met in person.

Why does EY not sponsor internationals working under CPT for one day masters program? Can we all ask for the firm? Or at least provide a better GEOC program.. They will send us to a random country..

Thoughts on masters from oxbridge? I'm interested in a PhD after but also want some flexibility to work for a bit after back in consulting.

Thinking of either mba+social science focused masters, then target US PhD. I don't currently have research experience.

So… 3.5 year relationship came crashing in Jan due to covid depression, work burn out, lockdown etc. We have stayed in contact and recently he has come around to apologizing and considering getting back together. Are the rumors about a longer and earlier flu season and a hard Covid winter true? I'm not personally noticing an increase in patients who need prescriptions for flu-like symptoms but it seems to be what everyone's talking about in and outside of the pharmacy. Can anyone weigh in?
