Got an interview for a business system analyst role, does anyone here know what that career track can like? What could I do after a few years in that role?

I got selected in Infosys and offer was about to get release today but at last minute suddenly today infy HR told I was interviewed 5 months 20 days before in infosys so they cannot proceed now as 6 months cool off period. I am AWS cloud architect with 10yoe. For just 10 days difference they are stopping my offer even when I can join immediately in a week.. Please help in this situation what to do

If we leave public accounting before passing the cpa exam, how do we go about verifying all our work experience/hours once we’ve moved into industry? Still want to get cpa, but moving into industry

I’m 4 rounds into the interview process for an Assistant Controller position in SoCal.

For the next round, I’ll be meeting with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and 5 other junior accounting staff.

I’ll have 30 minutes to explain a month-end close task (of my choice) to the accounting team.

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Why did you pick accounting as a major? I picked it because it was a safe choice and I just wanted a decent job after college.

Advice for studying for CISA? I’ve purchased the CRM, QAE, and Hemang Doshi’s book. So far I’m having trouble reading through the CRM because it’s so detailed that everything seems important and difficult to retain. I’m an incoming new hire so I think I should read the book even though I know people who have passed with only QAE (they were previous b4 interns)
