Got an offer for my first UX job in NYC at a fairly large agency but the salary seems a bit low to me. I’ve done my research online, but was curious what you guys think a UX designer should start at!

Hi folks, am bit afraid reading the comments about pwc india..I am just a beginner with 2 years experience. They offered me 8 lpa fixed.Nothing discussed about joining bonus.
Any feedback will be appreciated. Am confused whether they offered is a good package by reading the comments about pwc.And whether am taking the rights decisions.

I am currently looking to accept new roles for a job. I have an associates in Accounting have an 8+ year background in accounts payable and am about to receive my Bachelor's in August for Business Management and Economics with a concentration in entrepreneurship. Do you say “remuneration” in place of Compensation or in place of Total Rewards? For some reason I thought it was more related to TR and both Comp and Remuneration were used globally.

A recruiter at another B4 gave me a number much lower than what I’m currently making. Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? I hesitate to just throw out current salary + 20% bc I’d be asking for almost $190k for a SC role and I know that would be quite a huge ask for a SC @ B4, even for tech
