Got an offer from a boutique consulting firm in New York. Currently an Analyst up for promotion this June. Current pay is $85k and the offer is for $116.5k for a Senior Consultant role. I will be doing same work. FSI and banking client will be working on Data Transformation projects in Reg. Should i take the offer? PROS/VONS? I am a Permanent Resident to visa is not an issue. This was my first interview in my search and got an offer. Havent explored job opportunities yet. Please Advice.

I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Currently a big 4 consultant and got an offer from FAANG for a strategy and ops role that would bring my total comp up 60%. I’m really grateful for the offer and really excited, however, I am also interviewing with MBB. It has always been a goal of mine to work for tier 1 strategy firm as I’ve always felt on the outside looking in at big4. I feel like most exit ops from strategy would be S&O industry roles but still can’t get these MBB firms out of my mind. Am I just overthinking this?
