Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

Title doesn’t matter. Especially in the long run. You’ll be a big 4 manager that have industry experience
No way. That's not enough of a raise to make up for the title.
I don’t know the exact percentage yet, all I know is the position will be bonus eligible at this year end as well. Based on what I see at my PE client, I know they can usually make at least 20% or so bonus.
Are you jumping from public to private?
Titles are a bit different in private compared to public
Guessing you just got promoted and the new firm won’t transfer the title? Agree that the pay raise doesn’t make much sense unless it’s on top of your newly promoted salary.
I think the raise % is pretty reasonable then. Depending on the firm’s YE, you could work a few months then get that manager title at the new place and another pay bump. Can also confirm 30% bonuses.
