Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

My wife is a data entry person for some VA company. Makes $20 an hour for absolute lobotomy level work. I’ve offered to automate it but she doesn’t want to build herself out of a job lol.
Yes you should be making bare minimum $25 an hour.
A degree would make a world of difference.
What sort of COL area are you in? Target pays that much in some places.
30 minutes outside of Atlanta on the edge of Metro ATL.
Pay for AP is very low. You have to move up to a supervisory or AP technology Role to make more (or move to the accounting side). The reality is AP is basically a very chill office job that can usually flex around school/kids, so lots of people use it as sort of a secondary income for their household.

It has been that way for as long as there have been companies. I have worked for less than minimum wage but I have always worked to get a better job. I have been a farm hand, a soldier, a security guard, a LEO and now very well paid professional.
