No co-worker is your friend, be mindful on this.
I have faced a worst situation by trusting few colleagues.
Its not to bad to have acquainted with someone until you leave the org
Meet people outside your team, they will be your best buddies at office.
Yes, never make a friends within your team.
No prow & cons, mast life ho jati hai after joining MNC. Charo taraf goriya hi goriya and bas dollara hi dollara every month account me. Dosto and family members ke bich me sina chora karke bol sakta hai i am working in xyz MNC..

Be prepared to go to any extent to save your ass when such a situation arises (just don't end up doing anything illegal) . Self-interest should be the first priority. Keep an eye on your team. Always be a step ahead of them. Note down their mistakes and bring them up as per your needs.
When you realise you are at your peak, that is the best time for a switch. Once things turn downhill, your closest colleagues will be after your head, you'll end up as the villain.

I hope you are not in my team at any cost.
Everyone has their own experiences. Just go out and explore it yourself. The more you go with a fixed mindset, the more it can backfire. Discover yourself, what is good/bad etc
most importantly, be yourself. Don't loose your identity!
