Literally same exact scenario happened to me, recruiter got back 2 weeks later with the offer. I wouldn't sweat it at this point
Same for me
I doubt it’s bad. We are hiring like crazy right now. I’m sure you did fine.
I hope so! Thank you 🙏🏻
We as consultants tell all these businesses to run their businesses well yet I often wonder how terribly we run our own businesses. Like such high turnover as we have right now at PwC, demotivated and angry teams, and recruiters thag “forget” to respond to far to often would be a multi million dollar human capital consulting engagement.
Recruiting has been short staffed since 2016 when the team was cut, leaving the remaining recruiters with unmanageable workloads. They are set up to fail and they are doing just that spectacularly.
Recruiters, especially at PwC given the turnover, are probably really busy at the moment. Just send a friendly follow up email if you haven’t heard anything since it’s been a week it sounds like.
Helpful! Thanks. Sent one and was told to hang tight 🤞🏻
That’s our go-to mode of operation when hiring. Welcome to the club!
Behavioral health analytics! I think it’s under Operations
We’re very slow with offers. Mine took five weeks due to various vacations and approvals. 😐
If it’s just a week then don’t worry about it. Also, if they don’t select you they will inform. Ghosting is not an option.
I had a similar scenario. After meeting with a partner (having a solid internal referral). I got a note from recruiter they were contemplating an offer. Based on the level several other partners wanted to have a discussion with me prior to the offer going out, which delayed the process 3-4 weeks even with folks internally pushing and an immediate project need.
I imagine being an experienced hire this may be the case with you.
Good luck! May be worth getting some insight into what those partners manage to spotlight what you can bring to their world.
I have a interview scheduled with Partner and feeling bit nervous. Already given two technical rounds .. can anyone please tell me what is this partner round all about?
