Had a networking call with a partner that said they won’t be interviewing until 2021 for lateral hires. Friend said that’s not entirely true, and to try networking with others in that same office. Don’t want to come across as pushy. If a Partner really liked me, couldn’t they make a push to interview me? 🤔

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. They all went really well and HR said I’ll most likely be moving forward to a site visit. But now my contact has ghosted me. After I made 3 outreaches he had his aa schedule time for two weeks out.
