I applied with EY for a Senior Manager role I had my first stage interview with a senior manager, which I thought went well as I got the partner interview 2 weeks later, and said I'll be contact within 10 day HR. This did not happen so I chased up. Today I received feedback from HR stating that the senior manager, who would have been my peer, said I didn't have enough experience. But the partner who I would have been working under did like me.
Is this normal with EY recruitment
Can someone please take a look at my resume

So, this isn’t over yet. Thursday interview is your chance to shine. Be prepared, be (or appear relaxed), try to enjoy conversation with them. If you impress them, they will go back to the first crew with a positive feedback. Some amount of nervousness and stumbling in the interviews is normal. You may casually, if there is a right moment, reference the first interview and explain you could have provided better answers. I would not send “apology” emails now honestly but that is just me.
Thank you, stranger 🤗 I sincerely appreciate this and its already given me a boost of confidence. I will for sure knock my final interview out of the park.

I wouldn’t worry about it - I’ve never been great at judging how I did in interviews, and I’ve done a ton (150 or so). In fact, I thought I bombed my first BCG case - shows what I know!
I definitely wouldn’t mention any potential mistakes in your thank you note. Just be sure to do even better in the next interview!
As I said above, thank you so much. Sincerely appreciate this perspective. Not all interviews can be homeruns, I just need to roll with it and kill the next one 💪
Not sure really what I'm looking for other than some comfort that I can still nab this new gig. I haven't interviewed in so long and my anxiety is through the roof and I can't stomach another year in consulting at my client site (with no end in sight).
But follow up question to my initial post: does it help to address the question I fumbled in a thank you email to my interviewer, and in that emphasize how excited and motivated I am for the role? Or just send a simplified thank you email and just hope that I didn't blow it?
