Anyone have experience with a Base + RSU only offer from AWS? The base very small, with a 2 year “cash sign on” that brings TC back up to a reasonable level. But after 2 years, your RSUs are fully vested, and TC = Base + RSUs. No additional detail is provided on the value of the RSUs… except for a “Target Total Comp”. Thoughts on this setup?
Weighing a decision to join either West Monroe Partners (HLS practice) or HealthScape Advisors. Both offers are to come in as a Manager. What would you do assuming total comp is about equal?
What mid-career compensation (at age 45 or so) can I conservatively expect if I pursue Corporate Strategy, and exit at the Manager/PL/EM level? Currently at 31 years of age

Anyone else with their eye on the door trying to stall on offers until getting their bonus/raise in September?
Newly promoted experienced hire SC making $113k, 10 YOE (switched industries). Got an offer from TCS in an Advisory practice (not the tech sweatshop stuff that I keep seeing people mention). Base salary is $190k and in TCS equivalent of a M role. Downside to taking the salary hike and boomeranging back to D in ~2 years? FYI - I have 2 kids, so that kind of pay raise is kind of a big deal.
Hi All, I need your advice here, I have recently cleared the bloomreach interview and from very begining of the processes I have informed them about the offer I already had. I have a offer of value : X amount base +50 k variable. Even After sharing that offer breakup they have shared their offer as below: Base : X - 4 + 5% variable and 6 L joining bonus. I don't think it's right decision to accept this one as I already have an offer of X amount which is 4 L Pls give me some tips of nego..
Any deloitte fishes in Spain? What's the salary range for managers in the cybersecurity division?
Does anyone have experience or insight as to how best to navigate receiving a large settlement bonus (not something that happens on a regular basis, and so is not “expected” income) while on fed student loan income based repayment plan? Next year they will bump up my monthly because my tax return reflects a higher income than my actual salary.
I have offer from Yash technologies for SAP. How is the work culture there? Is it a good company in terms of hikes, roles, promotions and benefits. Is it better than joining Deloitte Considering salary in Yash is a little less than Deloitte. Will I get ample learning opportunities in Deloitte if I join there.I am thinking about work life balance too. Please suggest me where to join. I want to join a company where I'll have learning opportunity, but mental peace is also needed. Please guide.
Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
I am headed to Waddell and Reed tommorrow morning for an interview. Anyone have any advice or knowledge of there practices that can not be found on there website. Appreciate any information.
I lost my last job a few weeks before Christmas last year and it took me a long while to find a new one. Ultimately I ended up moving to a new city for a job I was really excited about. However, within the first few weeks I suffered a major medical setback which led to a crippling bout of depression. I am finally starting to feel like a person again but I'm afraid the ship has sailed on my having success in my new role.
If the big4 has an up or out model, do a lot of senior managers get laid off? Not everyone can be a partner/principle. How long can someone be a partner/principle for?

I'm a consultant. A manager on my project doesn't brush his teeth and a little piece of me dies every time he opens his mouth (we share a conference room). What to do?
https://joinfishbowl.com/post_0um71i A lot of debate here and we’ve gotten a lot of “ranges.” Anybody have actual insight on the avg/median comp Principal/MD/Partner or how the comp model actually translates to numbers? Several of my peers would love to have a clearer sense of this salary trajectory in figuring out next steps.
I'm a Tech Risk SC, but have an accounting/finance background. I'm doing the FRM now for broader cert experience, is it worth doing CA long term in my area?
Mullen Lowe, after I was flown in for an all day interview and workshopped a deck the team was struggling with on the fly. Had to bug them for 3 months to get my cab fare refunded.
Any tips for handling first project? Feel like I’m just not adding any value... I take forever doing menial tasks and just don’t really know how to contribute to the story. Does it just click one day?
What should be the next certification that I should get? I have the CFE. I’m targeting the CFCS and the ACAMS as the next ones that I should get. Any thoughts on which one I should get 1st? Pros/Cons
