I have passed the technical interview in Capgemini and HR has called for Salry negotiation , after that HR said that offer letter is in process.
Now HR called and was asking aren't you interested in the offer , HR said that client tried to contact you but you werent responding.
But I didnt receive any call from anyone ..
What is this client call ?
Is the process normal ?
Like I have heard the client calls would be after joining the organization .
Please enlighten me.

Question for those in "tech" cities. I am in Northern VA and view this area as a potential tech destination of the future as FAANG moves towards servicing the federal govt (see HQ2). Is there much of a premium in terms of pay for the accountants in the current tech cities? Is a career in FAANG as an accountant better than public accounting if you never expect to make partner? Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro.
