Hi. I started a personal finance Instagram account to share financial journey and financial tips. It’s called Her Millennial Money. I would appreciate any feedback or ideas of what to share.

Why aren’t you including rent in your expenses?

I would not want to share private information - just generalize. I am the type with no debt and grind for many years and save a lot - I think that’s still something people can learn from. There is no magic formula.

Regarding your HSA post you could mention the fact that at 65 the account basically functions like a traditional ira that can be used for anything!

I am an associate at an AM200 firm and was (IMO) very clear prior to accepting this role that I value work-life balance and wanted to try to keep work at night on the weekends to a minimal, but since February, it seems like it’s always something that requires my time as needed disregarding “business hours” or my personal schedule. Thoughts on whether to bring this up or continue to be a team player until I burn out and pay off my student loans?

Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). Hi everyone, I got hired on as entry level sales operations role back in January. It quickly turned into sales, and eventually all the sales for the small company once the head of sales left. I am happy to take on the additional role for my company, and they are going to let me. But they feel that without multiple people in a sales department the title head of sales might not be the best title. I have input in what my updated position title and salary would be. What should I ask for?

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

After house and car purchase, my monthly cashflow is now only +$500 where it used to be $1,500. I have around $30,000 in savings, but can only save $500 a month (besides the 10% contribution into 401K). Is this a bad sign of my financial health? Im 30 and just purchased my first home and put down around $100,000 (20% downpayment). Salary + bonus is around $110k. Thank you!!
