If you are trying to get food, you can instacart from Costco.
And where would you propose they put a warehouse of that size to where you can easily access it by walking or mass transit? If you're only going twice a year, just Uber or STR a car. You already recognize the cost savings so you'll likely still make out ahead.
I instacart for the daily basics/perishables. Anything else, I take an Uber or car share every couple of months.
As to Deloitte1 - NYC has a full-sized store in East Harlem. Easily accessible by bus and train 😉
They’re usually pretty decent, as long as you can meet them at the pick-up point with everything already packed in bags/crates.
For them, it’s basically like luggage, when going to the airport.
