Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock

McKinsey & Company How likely is McKinsey to rescind an offer if there's a recession/downturn before my start date? Received an Associate offer with a start date early in the Fall. But I'm worried about the offer being rescinded due to the ongoing McK scandals/issues and a potential recession in the making (which may prompt them to freeze hiring and/or renege offers).
Has this happened to anyone before at McKinsey, offer getting rescinded due to economic/company downturn? A bit worried

FWIW they didn't get rid of the tier concept
-- Tier 2 federal 2015 campus hire
Fed campus hire 2014 started out making about 10% less than my peers.. Then I switched to commerical officially in fall of last year and they gave me a 3k bump just for kicks. I now make the same as a new hire even though I have one year of experience. I just got promoted to consultant.. Will I now still be 1 year behind my peers in terms of salary or will they give me a little extra more to help me get to my peers range?
Started out making less cuz that was the last year they had tier 2 schools. The following year they got rid of that tier concept and commerical never had that tier concept so I feel like I'll be an outlier on the lower end in terms of salary vs experience for campus hires
Not sure if KPMG still uses that tier concept. I knew two dudes that started 3 years ago one from Lehigh, one from Udel. Lehigh started at $67k, Udel started at $55k. Udel has since left for an industry job making twice what Lehigh is making at the firm.
They will pay you as little as possible to keep you from leaving...
