Assigned to another project, but writing was on the wall and I worked on my exit
Watched it happen to a coworker that just didn’t get it. Was put into a “performance improvement plan” and then blamed his manager when he failed to improve. Doubt he learned his lesson. Big warning sign: almost daily complaints about how messed up his previous employer was.
Yes know a few. Had to take them off from the project.
Did you give them warning before hand?
I wouldn’t say “I” had the attitude but the manger and I didn’t mix and I was rolled off because of the “fit”. Just rolled onto another one no issues.
What kind of issues?
I've rolled people for bad attitude, and put them on PIP.
Some improved, some are gone. I've had SMs roll people off for fit with client or team, but that isn't a performance issue.
Depends what you mean by "bad attitude" is this a question about your performance or someone elses?
Yeah, sounds like you have an attitude problem. We all have to work with a certain amount of flexibility. If you had a client who wasn’t entirely tech savvy, so they don’t know what they’re talking about, would you treat them the same? Your reaction to this and your irritation is entirely a performance issue which needs to be coached. The result of this is probably a poor snapshot and possibly a PIP.
