I think the cert gives a good overview of cloud concepts and helps you understand what tech folks are talking about when they say things like "S3 bucket". To employers it only shows that you're familiar with the cloud but doesn't give any indication of expertise. I definitely recommend getting it if you're new to cloud - it's a fairly easy cert to get and does a good job of covering different topics. If you already have cloud experience, it's a waste of time.
