Tempted to buy 1 BTC ..
TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

I almost did it:
- I started interviewing with Capital One and McKinsey & Company on the same day: 3/2.
Capital One's process included other candidates and was supposed to take three rounds but they gave me an offer on 3/3, after the first round.
I was still interviewing with McKinsey and asked to expedite — which they tried to accommodate. We condensed 4-6 weeks down to 2-3 weeks. They could've cut me loose if I didn't have a chance and I'm grateful for them cooperating with me.
While in the Cap 1 background check, I was doing all the McKinsey tests and five interviews, right up to the final round, and then on the day I'm expecting a McK offer, HR told me they couldn't yet make a decision, and that they wanted to interview more candidates for the role (it was an experienced hire role with one position to fill, not the standard bar to surpass), so I completed the Cap 1 background check and got my start date and waited for McKinsey to come back — which took an entire month, and finally it was a no for McKinsey. Standard form rejection email (except they invited me to join their final round talent community), and no feedback call or anything.
Fortunately, Cap 1 was offering me 20% more base and the Cap 1 role was two levels higher than McK, and full remote. Don't get me wrong, I still want to work with McKinsey - and I've connected with everyone I interviewed with and I am eyeing their job boards all the time for next year, but I'm probably better off in my current role right now. I'm a manager at a Fortune 100 at 24 years old. Capital One made me an offer after my first interview, whereas McKinsey didn't seem to respect me or my time very much. I was pretty disappointed about the rejection, but I work with a great team and it wasn't difficult to get psyched up about the opportunity I had in front of me.
I currently work 2 remote jobs and go to two different school. One school being on camera with the teachers the same time as both jobs. It can be done.
Just curious, if you were to ever quit your job and go through with another background check which will likely reveal your other job, how will you explain to your new employer? You'd be gambling on the new employer not caring.
Credit checks only show employers that you may have listed on an application for credit. So you’d have to make sure you don’t report that other role anywhere else yourself

Can't you say you needed the extra money?
Many employers in professional services don't allow second jobs without approval.
