TBWA NY recruiter?
Bain & Company Hey! Got dinged at BCG and Mck and then hadn't heard back from Bain, but just found out I made it to final rounds. I haven't been prepping for over a week as it'd be two since my first round at Bain.
Help! Whats different or similar about Bain final rounds? I'm applying to Texas offices for an experienced AC role. I also may have to have an accelerated final round as I'm leaving the country for most of April. Bain & Company

May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

It's not really lying. I mean I guess technically it's not true historic record. But a lot of agencies force freelancers to work W2 instead of 1099 now anyway, so essentially they're just short term full time hires. Which is what you were, whether you knew it ahead of time or not.
Your resume is a marketing document, not an affidavit.
Definitely don’t lie when you fill out a formal job application, but on your resume, you can group two full-time jobs under a heading that implies freelance but doesn’t say it outright (like Digital Strategist as the heading, then Company A and Company B under that heading.)
I wouldn’t lie but i don’t think you need to specify whether it was freelance or staff on your resume
The question you mentioned would only come up if you listed those 6 month jobs as full-time. Say they were freelance and you will avoid that question completely.
Update-got an offer on Friday after a marathon interview (4x30 min interviews back to back)
Congrats 🎈🍾🎊🎉
That's freelance.
What Havas1 said. Just don’t specify… no one ever asked me whether roles on my cv were freelance or full-time, unless it’s a current role
Why is it not considered freelance?
Remember omission isn’t lying, just don’t offer any information. Someone else on the thread mentioned that most freelancers are paid by W2 so this would come up on a background check and i don’t think you can differentiate if the person was freelance or staff (just a guess). Also when your new employer verifies via a background check all the company can say was Senior Digital Strategist worked with us from Month/Year to Month/Year.
