I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Something to brighten up your day 🤗

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Solutions are an integrated and integral part of our practice. Every industry or sector has developed asset-based and tech-led service offerings. This is the heart of “solutions”. While sometimes tricky to construct in a traditional firm, these are core to our success.
As for exit ops, no one outside your firm has any idea of these internal structures or even what you do...
Completely agree
Be careful. Non-generalists are always considered as 2nd class citizen and there's been ton of conversation around it at the Firm but nothing has been fixed (in fact recently one in McK bowl too). HHs also know that there are non-generalist at the Firm so the exit options are vastly different as well.
OP, it’s not all that different from our MC or TC. Except at their shop Strategy runs the show.
M1. It’s not simple. Different people do different things have different roles and have different paths. Just like in any firm. Consultants in Solutions within industry practices (you have those, right?) are still consultants. Coders are not. Implementation coaches can be consultants (with the same growth expectations and path) or not (and so have differing expectations and paths). You can choose your path - there is no “boxing”. A coder who writes iOS apps is not a consultant. If they want to be a partner they have to learn how to create consulting opportunities for colleagues. Which means they need to do more than coding. If they have good team experiences and support they can evolve their path. We use words internally to clarify things, internally. They are not obvious externally (just like every other firm). But we all work for McKinsey, we all serve clients, we all have crazy high growth expectations.
