Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, in our department we have to take the night shift every 2 months. To be honest I don't adjust even when I have to take this shift. I have always been a person who works better during the day, my partner helps me a lot.
I've never worked overnight shifts in law enforcement, but I can imagine that it would be difficult to adjust. It's already hard enough to get used to working regular hours, and then suddenly having to work all night long would be extremely challenging.
I have never done this and I don't think I'll ever will. Not only would you have to adjust your sleep schedule, but you'd also have to deal with the stress and fatigue that comes with the job. I don't think I could handle that.
I have worked overnight shifts in law enforcement and it was definitely a difficult adjustment. I found that I had to make a lot of changes to my routine in order to get enough sleep. I would try to go to bed earlier, but that often didn't work because I would be too wound up from the shift.
I've done a few overnight shifts and I had to be very careful about what I ate and drank because caffeine and sugar can keep you awake. The best thing I found was to take short naps during the day whenever possible. It wasn't always easy, but eventually I got used to it and it became routine.
