The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?

Ladies, are gifts important to you?
Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

Just fine. But I "grew up" in audit so it wasn't strange to me. I'm sure it's a little awkward if you're not used to it. But as long as you have a place to sit and a point of contact, it works just fine. Maybe they have an audit room you can even sit in?
I was put on what was essentially an outsourcing project. The client outsourced its entire corporate tax dept to deloitte. We sat at the client 100% of the time
Yep
Some clients prefer it. Some circumstances make it a good idea.
What was your experience like?
Yep. Definitely for provisions and tax return reviews...I also have large clients where we work from their office once a week--that's when we have all of our status meetings
Good to know, I was worried when I was told that I would be going to the client site until the end of the season!
OP, if I was in the same city as my team, I'd be at the client from the beginning of August to October, so no worries!
