Has anyone looked into the idea of starting your own accounting practice? I have so many people come to me for tax returns and I’ve always turn them down because I don’t have the experience. Should I just start small and try and learn?

Rising junior interning in deals advisory. If I intern in trading at a bank for next summer, will I still have a shot at ib recruiting for full time? Or should I stick to trading and then lateral after 1-2 years? A follow up question: how hard would it be to get a fall/spring banking internship rn? Thanks

PwC CMAAS or KPMG FDD? I have no idea what to pick, just sick of audit.

Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry. I’m starting a financial analyst position at a major hospital system in my area soon and want to stick with that for a couple years before making a transition but was curious if I just don’t have the right experience for a role in advisory.

Which advisory group has the least travel out of AAS, FDD/TAS, and risk advisory? Or is it all dependent on the client and team nowadays? And is the travel schedule comparable to consulting? (ex. M-Th on a plane)
