I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Dude...your firm won’t care if you burn out/die but your CPA is for yourself. Either take the LOA or say no to work. CPA should be your top priority.
I didn't qualify for a LOA cause I wasn't at the firm that long (like six months). So I YOLOed and quit. No regrets. Got a job a couple of months later.
I’m in the same boat, I seriously don’t know how I’m ever going to pass while working 😓
Same I’m thinking about doing that or 50% if I can’t pass before May
I’m quitting if I don’t pass before my scores expire for something with better wlb 😅 3/4 done before I started work and it’s killing me that I still have one left
I took two months off during the summer to study, don't regret it. As long as you can comfortably afford to do it without suffering financially, I'd say go for it.
I’ve been considering my options too, I hope someone who has done something like this chimes in
Not sure if this will help or not as everyone studies differently, but for every firm wide holiday (thanksgiving, july 4th, christmas) where they give us a few days off I’ve always taken off the entire week and following Monday to study for one exam at a time. So with a full 6 business days off, you get a solid 9 full days to study and then take your exam.
I just took my 4th exam needed a week ago right after thanksgiving. If I pass (fingers crossed) then it would have taken exactly a year to pass them all while working full time. Additionally, testing the same test twice (after failing once) only requires about one weekend of cramming/studying so you don’t need to wait for another holiday break.
Hope this helps! Good luck! You can do it!
