Never been helpful in terms of getting a new position, but v nice when you wanna know who’s stalking ya. Made a lot of first moves with recruiters that way.
No not worth it. I had premium and applied to 30+ jobs where I was in the “top 10% of applicants” and maybe one app got opened....
This was a great, helpful question. Thanks, OP. See ya at the elevators.
LinkedIn premium has never helped me get a job. Go meet people!

not worth it
Use the 1 month free trial and then cancel. I found it worthwhile but not at the price.
Not helpful at all
Not helpful. It lets you message recruiters who you would otherwise not be able to without a first connection but they never wrote back anyway. Haven’t gotten a single call back for any job inquiries via LinkedIn
Agree with one month free trial.... if you hustle as in inmail the crap out of everyone in LA eventually you’ll find people that want to help you, even if they can’t offer you a job per se. I had at least 5 CDs/4 recruiters respond in that time, got a great network in a city I never lived in, and got freelance gigs out of it. With the option to become full time and fully move there.... then got a promotion in Chicago so took it, 4 months later I quit and moved here anyway without a job. Landed my dream one! However I’m talking Austin and you’re talking LA, so that may be irrelevant ;) my advice? Just quit and go. It’s easier when you’re there in person and things have a weird way of working themselves out when you think it would be more challenging. Also I worked at Leo.
