Has anyone used the EY tax Chat services to file their taxes? Considering using the service to save myself the time of doing my taxes and the $150 discount seems like the service is reasonably priced

How do we get the reimbursement?

Firm reimburses turbo tax. Unless you have some complicated stuff, it should be just fine.

Don’t use it. Way too expensive and too new, IMO. I don’t even see many clients wanting to use it either Buy Turbo Tax, save money, and get the cost reimbursed.

Submit the receipt for turbo tax through GT&E

Why would you ever let your employer not only have access to but actually prepare your tax return unless you were a partner and had insane multi state filings. I don't care what cyber and physical security they have in place.

In the past I’ve wrongly thought that forgiveness brings restoration of relationships. But reconciliation requires everyone involved to respond -which is beyond our control. Forgiveness says I’m canceling that debt- it’s my marker & I’m tearing it up. I’m putting myself in Gods hands -Justice comes from Him. We mistakenly think that forgiveness is weakness as if we just capitulated. Forgiveness isn’t a sign of weakness- It takes strength to forgive. God tells us to forgive.

With social security potentially running out, why couldn’t it be an option for the govt to put $5k for every baby that is born in a year into an account Invested in a govt share class S&P 500 fund. Historical average is 10%+, which would provide roughly $2.7 million for a baby born today. Eventually, this would eliminate the need for soc sec tax, and would only cost $18 Billion a year instead of several trillion a year being deposited into the trust.

Rising 2nd year here: been rethinking my choice as an M&A attorney. I've had a rough go of it over the first year-and-a-half of practice and am thinking about moving to a different practice area. I'd like to stay on the transactional side, but am not quite sure what areas I can leverage my corporate and M&A skills in. I was thinking T&E (i.e. business succession planning, etc.)

Would greatly appreciate input from others.
