Gotta make the olds quit somehow....
Apparently is the same playlist being played in both NY and Chicago. Hearing Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies blaring through the speakers while I was taking a client call did make me laugh though.
Hahahah sounds excruciating. Feel bad for you
There's more to Havas' 80's cheesy cliche than just the Muzak... just saying...
Chicago office plays nonstop uncensored rap. A tad awkward when you have a very corporate client in the office....
It is so loud, I can hear it from inside conference rooms 😡
Define "80s punk rock"...
I like it better than the top 40s hip hop
Hardly going to make the olds quit. We wrote that shit.
Lol
Some 80s music is okay. But most of it should just die.
Havas2 same thing. Sometimes it's punk rock, sometimes it's 90s rap a la Biggie, Tupac, Nas, Wu Tang, etc. It's the CCO from Chicago who know oversees NY too
Now*
80s punk rock (idk it's not really my specialty): Ramones, Clash, Misfits, Minor Threat, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion, Suicidal Tendencies.
It's more the "sound" than the decade i.e. very raw, early, old school (sometimes U.K.) punk rock
i wish it was playing on the main floor, TBH. I can't believe people have a problem with Beastie Boys, Nas, Biggie, etc. Get your life, bbs. We should take note of how the Chicago office operates, not just when it comes to "culture". It's wayyy cooler on so many levels and the creatives are stronger overall.
The problem is the repetitiveness - anything (even if you like it) gets horrible if you hear it over and over
