Run away and don't look back. Look for a different job or you might find yourself in the middle of a hornet's nest when MCR,/MCD finds out what you boss is doing.
Run as fast as you can. Let your boss do whatever. Make sure you are paid all of your hours. If not, call the dept of labor. They can not take hours worked away from you.
I agree, find a new job. because it sounds like the agency you're working for is trying to do Medicare or Medicaid fraud by adding or removing hours. I used to be a medical biller and the number one reason some agencies would get audited is inconsistent hours of workers. This would happen due to the company not taking the extra time to verify all employee schedules were verified and completed prior to billing for services. The other issue with the client and the brief changes makes it complicated. Your agency should be trying to switch you to another client because of the other family trying to report you even though they are not the POA doesn't make their allegations not valid. I know in healthcare you must do whatever you have to protect yourself. Never leave it on a company to do some if you feel this is not right just find a new job.

I’d chart the patients refusal every single day. I’d also put a note on the chart that patient does not want male staff involved in a. , b. , c. etc per patient and daughter poa. If it’s charted, you’re good to go.
Document. You cant take any pictures that show residents but you can either take a pic when you clock in and clock out. Mdake sure it shows the date. Then when you get your check take a pic of the check and the part of it that shows how many hours you worked and what taxes out, etc. Im sorry to say this but either she is careless (unlikely) or doing this on purpose. She shoulby paid dnt even be doing the payroll, it should be done sby th e business office, payroll or HR. I would switch rezidents with another cna or have someone go in the room with you so u have a witness. Good luck.
Or do what Hospice Nurse 1 said. Lol.
I would politely decline working with that client again. It's not worth your certifications and future licensure. The patient has the right to refuse, your boss has an obligation to find appropriate care for her. there are so many red flags, you should find a new job stat.
Everyone including patients has a right to feel comfortable. Because you don’t have a chaperone and sadly there are more cases of male on female patient abuse … please don’t take this personally. It’s just not a fit and there a zillion other jobs that would be great. Please look for another assignment and/or job. Best of luck.
