Depends what they do and if they are ripe for acquisition. I work in a leadership role but at a Hospital PE firm, and when I talk to other leaders about the health tech space, we all shake our heads because health tech is “generally” a solution looking for a problem, rather than the other way around.
Once PE money dries up, and it will, you will have a lot of losers. So pick carefully and hopefully you can cash out before the drought
Great advice MD1
MD1, I know nothing about the health space, but for the sake of argument want to pose a question to get your take: is there really a risk of PE $ drying up in health tech? Assume you’re talking US. My impression is that health is a profitable, growing field, and health problems generally speaking aren’t going anywhere. Tech firms being hammers looking for a nail doesn’t seem to be health-specific. Curious on your take
