I have tons of mushrooms, what should I cook?
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Getting staffed for a higher role seems like an opportunity to prove you deserve the promotion, not an opportunity to decline unless you get paid more
Considering it's not promo time for you guys I doubt you get a comp adjustment. Probably something you take on and they maybe promote you this summer
On my project. I’m interested in accepting it but I’m unsure of what to ask for my comp adjustment. Any thoughts? I don’t want to be extreme and turn them off, but want to be fair for the new responsibility/role
Yeah you’re getting an opportunity to prove you are ready for the next level, you don’t get a raise. Maybe if you’re a 3rd party / independent contractor and have a negotiated rate you may be able to negotiate, but internally you got nothing.
I became an EM on two engagements at once. I got a “thanks” and a $50 “real-time recognition”. Don’t count on a renegotiated salary.
Oh, sorry if it wasn’t clear. They already told me they would adjust my comp. Basically was told to ask for what would make me “excited to take it on”... whatever that means
It’s a promotion to “manager” level at this firm. It’s a very small, niche firm, so it’s not as structured at big 4 etc
Well, your na.e says PwC so...yeah
