I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

Is it an annual event ?
Are there firms that don't lay off people after annual reviews? I'm not sure why this is so shocking.
We barely have lay offs come on over and become a superstar (like I did) 🏂
K1 - Unfortunately, yes
ZS does not layoff after reviews
Not really. Not sure S&2 where have you got this idea from. A good recruitment process ensures that you bring quality folks within the firm. A good forecasting process decides how many people you bring in. So next task is to grow business and maintain your house. Its not like Deloitte whose inlet and outlets are wide open. Recruitment and Layoff is not in the same way you breathe in and breathe out.
Most actual strategy consulting firms have an up or out model which is always going to pair with forced attrition during performance reviews.
S1, doing this at 8 months is shitty and yes, a sign that the business isn't strong, but most practices aren't doing that this year.
Honestly, it's because S& barely sells any projects (especially R&C) so the bench is always a mile deep. However, the firm will keep hiring as many folks every year. Spot a pattern?
Also willing to bet other strat houses don't lay off within 8 months of joining
Booz Allen doesn't have annual layoffs that I'm heard of. We lose enough good people by attrition each year we can't afford to cut the chaff.
Does S& let folks go annually because headcount is too high, or is this in reference to people being pushed because they are on the low end of the review scale? The former could result in higher performers getting cut, the latter is just normal performance review cycle stuff.
Yes, we also have higher purpose 😂
@S&2, FS and R&C already have
@S&1 if you’re still with the firm how would you say the culture has changed in the past 3 years
