Seeing how 401k’s, ira’s etc..are mostly based in stocks. What happens if we have another Great Depression and the stock market crash’s. Even if you have Real estate investments, if ppl can’t pay rent like with Corona, that’s not really helpful. We all know- SIP of 50k/pm for 15 years at a CAGR of 12% p.a. grows to 2.52 Crs ( approx.). BUT

Do you know- If we delay it by just 2 years- the value falls to 1.88 Cr ( approx.) Difference is a WHOPPING 64 LACS, though the difference in Investment amount is only 12 lacs!!
