Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

I think you mean Dodd Frank Act, and looks like you will be first to go if you don't know the name of it.
Really? Haven't heard of any layoffs... Seems like we can do no wrong based on all firm communication that I've seen.
Did they lose bids on a couple of big jobs or are they anticipating the repeal of dobb frank?
I think, they hire crappy new hires with zero experience😂 especially in audit and expect seniors to clean after them.
No dramatic layoffs i heard off in any of the offices just regular turnover after busy season i guess
It depends on the department and region. I don't work in advisory but my groups growth is through the roof so I'm not worried. We had some layoffs in the office but like CH4 said, they were low performers.
Layoffs are real, the OPs info is correct. Two people in internal audit in my office, both manager level. We're "reorganizing".
42 people, we knew about the reorganizing, not that there would be layoffs. Mostly from our business risk area, but some tech risk and reg comp risk. I've also heard one offs, like several audit in GR.
Firm performance is down = layoffs will be up
Haven't heard anything.
I'm a new hire with a schedule booked through march, business seems good
Crowe Horwath 7 - what office?
Not anyone in particular, they're removing smaller, more specific groups that don't have enough work.
It's all strategic. See my earlier comment. Smartest to start with with low performers and Specific BUs in offices that aren't performing to par, has the most impact to bottom line.
