I was laid off in April when there was just email and phones. Cut to five months later and I’m working again. Yay. But suddenly it’s all Zoom, Slack, Teams, Slides, Sheets. Email is dead. Saw an article recently how companies are investing in surveillance tools to evaluate the "productivity" of their employees since many transitioned to remote work. I think this needs to be listed very clearly in the employee handbook. Has your company been transparent with you about how they are tracking you?
