Getting so many replies for referrals to big 4 but how likely will I get hired lol? Tried it once and never got a word back.

Can someone give me insight on completing projects for interviews? I’ve interviewed for a very associate level role that pays ~65k. The interview went well but now they want me to not only do a SWOT analysis on the company as well as present for 45 minutes on a 4 person panel. I’ve done assessments before for interviews but this seems a little excessive based on the role (eCommerce specialist) and pay range. Has anyone experienced something like this before?

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud. I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Additionally I’ve had a couple interviews where company “X” interviewers have commented on this and in an effort to not bad mouth my previous employer I’m stuck with a generic answer like I want to take my career to the next level with Company “X.” I’m stuck. Thoughts/strategies?

How do you keep your spirits up after multiple rejections in interviews? Over the last year I have gotten to ELEVEN final interviews with big firms but I can’t seem to close the deal! In the interview and after they ALL seem to like me but the offer never comes. My tank is running low and I no longer have any energy to apply or pursue opportunities. How do you do this? Looking for some advice on a career change. I work in a technical role and have well-developed soft skills. I want to transition to UX (w/ focus on accessibility). There are a lot of UX educational programs out there, some very new, e.g. Dribbble, and costs are all over the place - General Assembly is $15k (and full-time), CareerFoundry almost $8k, and then many others at a fraction of the price. Reviews also vary wildly. Are these more expensive programs worth the huge increase in cost?

I think I’m too insecure to actually climax during s3x with anyone. Been a Staff Accountant for 4 years in the PA world in NYC. I am looking to go back to school due to having a Finance degree. I've been told at other companies that in order to move on up the latter, I should have an Accounting degree and a CPA license. It took me many years to move up from a Bookkeeper to a Staff Accountant due to the degree issue but I've had a place hire me as a Staff Accountant and been that ever since. Is it worth going for my MS in Accounting and then pursuing my CPA?
