MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically.
