Hello everybody, happy Wednesday! I was hoping to get some advice on breaking into the industry, networking, and finding an "in" or mentor.

I'm having a lot of trouble with this. Cold applying to jobs hasn't worked super well. Getting in touch with talent agencies hasn't helped. Messaging creatives and recruiters, I rarely get an answer.

Tell me your secrets, please.

Interviewing for a Industry Solutions Project Manager role soon. What are some things to expect during the onsite interview? Will it be more behavioral type questions or should I need to know specific MS products/tech?

I came across a copywriter position that I’m interested in, but one of the requirements is 8 years of experience. I’m currently just over 5 years. Would it be ok to still apply?

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

Can anyone explain the Chubb underwriting associate training? Is it in person or hybrid? Interview process? Looking to make a transition from education.

Just say NO, Sorry your skills are not a match, don't ignore. You were also candidates once.

Worse they say We'll check or get back to you. But never come back. Luckily I got selected into a tier-1 company and their Recruiter ignored me once 😂. I am gonna personally meet that recruiter on Day1.

I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k. All of my agencies have been large, I’ve worked on pharma and a large global account, I also started “managing” at the AE level due to my team’s structure. Is $80k fair? Thanks!
