Are most companies paying for you to learn new skills? When acquiring new skills are you mostly self taught? What are your best go to sites for learning animation or video skills? Trying to gauge the norm on expectations for new hires who need to know everything from print, web, video, social and animation. Can you do it all?

I'm the only employee with a background in finance in a tech startup growing at a 300%+ per year. But it's actually my first finance-related experience (interned and now part-time as I'm in my senior year of undergrad) and don't know really how to have an impact as my knowledge is "limited" and have no technical mentorship.

Any advice/mentorship would be wonderful!

Has anyone used a tutor or a specific company for 1 on 1 expedited training specifically for another license? Need to take a new license quickly and would like to find 1 on 1 help.

Nagarro , YOE -4 ,Tech stack -QA , I have joined Nagarro 6 months ago , i was tagged in first project AFTER spending 2 months in bench , project was in manual testing , I asked the manager for change of project and he approved that I was released from project within 1.5 month , again got tagged in project project started very late and now there is again manual testing , should I re ask to change project ,or search for other opportunities outside ???? I want to work purely on automation testing

Are there any fully remote lawfirms, ie you don't have to live in the state they have offices? I recently left a large lawfirm to go in-house which came with a huge paycut that is not going to be sustainable long term, but needed a remote position to be able to move. I'd like to keep my current job part-time but get back in a lawfirm too.

I’m building my first iOS app. I only have experience in material design. I’m looking for easy to comprehend specs around standard design elements: headers, chips, buttons, etc. The iOS UI support material is nearly impossible to understand. Any advice for the best place to find that info? I’ve tried survival kits that aren’t very consistent. I’d also be willing to buy a quality iOS kit. Thanks in advance for the help!

Any tips on staying motivated? I feel like my work is getting so predictable and boring and it isn't challenging my creative side. I find myself struggling to stay motivated throughout the day, does anyone else feel this way? How do you push through these feelings?

I’m transitioning from Art Director to UX/UI Designer. As an AD, I’ve worked on UX/UI but it wasn’t the only thing I did. I don’t know how to title myself on my resume with all my experience being an AD and/or Designer though.

How to make a leap from UI/UX into product design? What skills should a PD have? With 5 YOE and I still feel like a junior. I have a good eye for visual design, but I'm a bit scared of the business strategy, analytics and testing part. Where do I start to learn those skills? I know the basics of testing and conducting workshops, but I don't know how to develop those skills further. My company focuses on UI and I haven't been lucky to land a PD job. I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However, I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?
