Hello, fellow professionals at @DHLSupplyChain. I was wondering, within the context of professional development, are employees here encouraged to pursue external certifications, or do certain concerns about career advancement and potential attrition play a role in the decision-making process? Just curious to know more about the company's approach to this matter. Thanks!Dhl supply chain

DHL Supply Chain receives top rank internationally for career development in the field of contract logistics. This is why retention is so high.

It seems like they'll help you obtain a degree from an accredited college or university. I'm unsure about any other certifications. The program also has to be related to the work that you do/the company does. The amount of tuition reimbursement that an employee receives is based on the cost of the program and the employee's grade point average. Employees can receive up to $3,000 per year in tuition reimbursement.

Hello! At @DHLSupplyChain, we value professional development. Employees are encouraged to pursue external certifications to enhance their skills. We prioritize career advancement and address concerns to retain talent and support growth opportunities. Thanks for your inquiry!

Is @DHLSupplyChain NE NAM hiring?? 🫣

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??

How many firms is too many? I’ve practiced 13 years. Since I was a 1st year associate, every 3 years or so I’ve been recruited for another opportunity that is hard to pass up. I’ve been at my current firm 3 years and got the call again, again about an opportunity that is hard to pass up. I don’t like having a reputation of a flight risk, but this keeps happening. Should I decline to pursue the opportunity just so I have a longer track record at my current firm? This will be my 4th if I move.

2/ Don’t wait, just jump or apply to other roles
3/ Study and go back to grab MBA (considering MIT or Stanford MSX - 1 YR)

I work in a firm that is known for litigation defense. I’ve been developing my own plaintiffs practice as well.
