Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!
Why too many people leaving FIS ?

Hopefully you moved to a front end role. If yes, you'll be working with clients from the industry. If it's a Strategy role, you'll get many offers from the clients to join their Strategy team or some other internal team. For example the current Chief Strategy Guy of an Indian FMCD giant used to work in my team a couple of years back. So, the Client recruited him for that role itself. This happens quite often, I have just joined the team a couple of months back and I've already gotten 2 offers from the clients I've worked to join their team.
So, switching to Industry and working your ass off can certainly help you vault to the level of a CXO. Be warned this doesn't come easy. Usually Front End Roles will demand 14-15 hours of work daily with constant rigor and pressure. If you're okay with that, slog 7-8 years in Front End Strategy Consulting, and then switch to Industry. I myself, don't see myself working in Consulting post 3-4 years. But that's me.
Hey thank you for such a detailed answer. I am moving to M&A team and would be dealing with tech strategy for post m&a integration or separation cases. It's not exactly front end but I am guessing will be able to experience strategy significantly.
Work hours is something also am concerned about but then I guess to rise that high one would need to put in that effort. Also I don't know what else I would be able to do if not consulting.
But atleast got some clarity from your answer thanks man!
